Brief
Nike Sport Culture released their Holiday ’07 Collection, a new line of sports-inspired casual wear. The client wanted a website which was able to convey the attitude and style which formed an integral part of street culture, and yet at the same time have the product as the main focus, and allow the audience to view the new line of clothing and apparel.

The Idea
The challenge was to display the client’s products in a new light rather than just display them as though in a catalogue. We tackled this by creating a virtual storefront which mimicked the Nike retail environment. In doing this, we were also able to capture the essence of the Nike Sport Culture brand – technology married with style, edgy and modern.

In keeping with the retail environment concept, we created a virtual fitting room to show off the client’s products, complete with mannequin where the products chosen could be displayed. The user could browse the entire collection and put together an outfit in the changing room, with the whole range of tops, bottoms, footwear and even accessories available to complete the outfit.

Campaign Results
Since site tracking was started on 19 Nov 2007, 11,020 visitors have gone to the site (as of 31 Dec 2007). 2,057 visitors used the virtual fitting room. In addition, 254 products were viewed a total of 12,052 times by 9,255 visitors.
